I really enjoyed The Measure! what a concept, what a premise. I would love for my book club to read it so I'd have a wide variety of opinions on the subject. Cori

Wow - the premise of The Measure is arresting! That would be a fantastic read for a college level philosophy class. Or poly sci for that matter. And I'm listening to the Sly and the Family Stone video now. Needed that. Thanks! Great post, Sandi!

You are a class act Sandi!!! So much good stuff in this post! I'm still rocking with Sly as I type this. :) Love the texture of your version of the Waffle sweater. Very tempting to start one, I must say! Absolutely approve of you getting a paid subscription for teaching how to do a pattern conversion for a different weight yarn! You go girl!!

BTW - Your wood needles look to be a gift from knitting heaven!

Thanks for the many links. I think I bailed on capitalism at an early age, as being a boys game that I wanted nothing to do with, if I could swing it. 70+ years later I am still afloat without employees and one on-one interaction with all customers. And still love what I do! :-)

BTW 2 - I just listen to Mary Trump's chat with E Jean Carol here on Substack about her new book 'Not My Type'. The chat is certainly fun!
