Thank you for the detailed review! The info you provide is wonderful. And special thanks for the hat pattern. I love the design. You know, I can’t keep my weights straight. Let’s just say I’m happiest when I’m knitting with sizes 5-7 needles 🙂

I really appreciate your reviews.

I am dk or lighter in yarn weight preference. I have to grab something different occasionally to use a different needle size, or knit a loose fabric.

Sandi, Thanks for the thorough review and also for the really striking hat pattern! I've been wanting to work with cotton blends recently, especially as I've dipped a bit into crochet.

Thank you for the shout out Sandi. With a new baby grand little on the way it’s time for me to get my needles out. It seems baby sweaters are the only thing I can get sizing right now

Always appreciate your detailed yarn reviews Sandi. Very kind of you to throw in a free hat fun pattern, to boot! The yarn sounds lovely and like it would knit something up pretty quickly on size 7 needles!

Big fan of Lorene and her love of plants and colors. She has such an interesting way of teaching us to really see the colors of things!!

It does knit up quickly, which is a nice break after working with sport and fingering weight yarns!

I seem to be a collector of souvenir skeins in fingering weight yarn. When we travel to different towns and places with an LYS, this is an easy purchase to support the shop and not break the vacation budget. I love to knit socks and shawlettes with this yarn so it works out well for me. I am fairly new to your column and have enjoyed your posts. Thank you.

I'm with you on buying souvenir skeins of fingering weight. I can't walk out of a yarn shop empty handed (I owned a yarn store 20 years ago, and I remember what a let-down it was when someone would come in, spend 30 minutes looking and touching, then walk out without buying anything).

And welcome! I'm glad you found me.
