I love Pima cotton but did not know about its origin. Thank you for this lovely article and review. So far cotton+acrylic, cotton+linen blends have worked well for warm weather knits for me.

I love cotton-linen blends, as well as 100% linen.

This is an excellent review Sandi! I saw Cotton Chirp on Purl Soho's socials and wondered about it. Now I'm fully informed. The stitch definition looks great! Have fun at h&h americas trade show and the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival. Immersion indeed! :)

For years I bought pima cotton long sleeve polo shirts from Nordstrom for my father. He loved them! They were easy to care for, rarely required repair and always looked great. Those blue stripes with white accent of your swatch are very fetching. They shout sun and sea to me. I think I even hear sea gulls! 😎

There is such a big difference in the quality of knit shirts. I buy Pima cotton t-shirts from a company called JJill https://www.jjill.com/product/pima-slub-scoop-neck-side-slit-tee?color=HVJ&searchTerm=pima%20cotton%20tee. They have such a smooth, silky hand, and hold up well to laundering.
